Quincento Citrisade (or just Citrisade) is the name of a refreshing fruit drink made out of no less than 500 oranges and lemons. Some people drink lemonade. We drink Citrisade… Ok, I might have made that up. “Quincento Citrisade” comes from combining the 5 hops (Equinox, Centennial, Topaz, Citra, Palisade) used in this 7th Double IPA of our Double IPA series. With a nice, smooth malt backbone and some mild alcohol warmth, this bold DIPA packs a punch and coats your tongue with an aggressive, bitter, resiny intensity. Citrisade has wonderful orange, lemon, mango, and resin notes blended seamlessly together to become one intense, ripe, aggressive package of heady goodness. I recommend not drinking this like lemonade, although I could see how the temptation would be there! Cheers!
